Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ken Irrawaddy (ranked 931 p4p, 2268 weight class) and Miguel Harper (ranked 110 p4p, 243 weight class). Irrawaddy comes into the arena with Laos Rules! blaring out of the sound system. Harper comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Al Compás De Mi Caballo kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Irrawaddy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Miguel Harper! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harper misses with a wild combination.
Harper takes a body punch but keeps moving. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Harper has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Irrawaddy misses with a wild body shot. Harper looks like he wants to counter punch here. Irrawaddy looks to throw the jab but Harper is out of range. Harper dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Harper lands with a hook. Irrawaddy tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Irrawaddy throws out a loose jab but Harper uses good head movement to avoid it. Harper misses with an uppercut. Irrawaddy saw that one coming. Irrawaddy misses with a body shot.
Irrawaddy misses with a straight left. Harper scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Harper misses with a wild body shot. Irrawaddy misses with a hook. Irrawaddy works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Irrawaddy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Harper.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Harper will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Harper cracks Irrawaddy with an open hand slap. Irrawaddy takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Irrawaddy ducks under a wild hook from Harper. Irrawaddy was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harper displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Irrawaddy throws out the jab. Harper closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Irrawaddy is looking to improve his position.
Irrawaddy is trying to maintain the position but Harper is very close to passing his half guard. Irrawaddy is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Irrawaddy wants to sweep but Harper has passed to side control! Harper tries to advance to mount but Irrawaddy denies him. Irrawaddy wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Harper has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Irrawaddy's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Irrawaddy is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Harper!
