Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Don Barnes (ranked 1610 p4p, 1180 weight class) and Van Darkholme (ranked 233 p4p, 162 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Don Barnes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Van Darkholme!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy left from Darkholme finds it's target.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Darkholme. Barnes shrugs it off though.
Darkholme scores with a hook to the body. Barnes takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Darkholme clobbers Barnes with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Barnes throws a lazy right hand but Darkholme sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Barnes takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Barnes tries for a takedown but Darkholme circles away easily
and Darkholme makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Darkholme's coach down at GachiClub was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Darkholme's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Barnes misses with a body shot.
Barnes throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Barnes rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Darkholme counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A leg kick checked by Darkholme.
Barnes connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
An inside leg kick lands from Darkholme.
Darkholme lands a nice shot that snaps Barnes's head back.
Darkholme throws out a leg kick but Barnes moves out of range and Darkholme only half commits.
Barnes seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
A combination from Barnes does no damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Darkholme lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Darkholme fakes the leg kick and cracks Barnes in the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Darkholme. Barnes does a little dance to reset his feet.
Darkholme avoids the body shot from Barnes.
Darkholme is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Darkholme sends Barnes crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Darkholme is motioning to the referee to let Barnes up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Barnes is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Darkholme pounces like a tiger and cracks Barnes with a vicious hook! Barnes is down but not out! Darkholme follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
