The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sauer tries to keep at a distance but Laguna has taken the fight into the clinch.
Laguna keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Sauer's efforts to push away.

Sauer jumps guard and drags Laguna to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Sauer working for a triangle but Laguna defends it easily.
Laguna passes Sauer's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Laguna is working for a kimura but Sauer is defending it quite comfortably.
Sauer is controlling Laguna's position as best he can from this difficult position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
