Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chiang Ching Wong (ranked 4530 p4p, 4374 weight class) and Taras Hnatchuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chiang Ching Wong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Taras Hnatchuk! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Darius Henderson and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wong drives through and clinches with Hnatchuk against the cage.
Wong tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Hnatchuk managing to block the knees to the body from Wong.
Wong keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hnatchuk's efforts to push away. Hnatchuk is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Wong pulls him back up using the underhooks. Hnatchuk has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Wong is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Hnatchuk is trying to break free. Wong pulls guard effortlessly. Wong manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hnatchuk manages to get himself to full guard.
Wong postures up and lands a big shot to Hnatchuk's brow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hnatchuk working a defensive guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wong sitting in guard, not really doing much. Wong gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Hnatchuk tries to clinch up but Wong circles away and keeps his distance. Wong throws a quick counter head kick but Hnatchuk was just out of range. Hnatchuk tries for a takedown but Wong circles away easily and Wong counters by clinching up. Chiang Ching Wong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Taras Hnatchuk. Wong manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Hnatchuk really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wong. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wong controlling Hnatchuk's posture. Hnatchuk is looking to work some ground and pound but Wong has wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wong controlling Hnatchuk's posture. Wong avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hnatchuk wants to pass the guard but Wong is keeping the position. Wong seems keen to control Hnatchuk's posture. Wong looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Hnatchuk is defending well. Wong quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Hnatchuk has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Wong celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
