Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Delgado (ranked 4520 p4p, 4369 weight class) and Magomed Tukhgov (ranked 0 p4p, 196 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tukhgov shoots in for a double leg but Delgado sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Delgado stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Delgado wants it to stay on the feet.
Delgado is looking to chop away at Tukhgov's legs.
Delgado slaps away a takedown attempt from Tukhgov, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Marcus Delgado has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Magomed Tukhgov.
Tukhgov tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Delgado defends well and Tukhgov ends up having to push Delgado into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
No luck for Tukhgov with that takedown attempt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Delgado. Tukhgov does a little dance to reset his feet.
It seemed like Tukhgov was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Delgado wants to pass to mount but Tukhgov is defending the position.

Tukhgov is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Delgado scores with a couple of nice shots.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Delgado connects with a nice short shot to Tukhgov's temple.

Delgado looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Delgado looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tukhgov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Tukhgov is rocked!
Well, if Delgado is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Tukhgov is staying active underneath Delgado, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
