Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wayne Ambercrombie (ranked 4561 p4p, 4371 weight class) and Benjamin Strasser (ranked 0 p4p, 452 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Damien Edna and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Strasser enables Ambercrombie to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Strasser manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Ambercrombie is stalling in the full guard.
Strasser wants to sweep here but Ambercrombie controlling him for the moment.
Ambercrombie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Strasser swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ambercrombie seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ambercrombie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Strasser is just riding it out for now. Ambercrombie eventually gives up the hold.

Strasser is looking to get back to his feet here but Ambercrombie is keeping cool and he's managed to take Strasser's back.

Strasser is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Ambercrombie off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.
