Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tank Ispa (ranked 385 p4p, 484 weight class) and Spencer Rubenstein (ranked 61 p4p, 76 weight class). Spencer Rubenstein acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 27 - 13 - 2, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tank Ispa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 23 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Spencer Rubenstein! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rubenstein avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A nice leg kick lands there from Ispa. Ispa lands with a shot to the body. Ispa connects with an inside leg kick. Ispa misses with a takedown attempt and Rubenstein counters with a left to the body. Ispa lands a leg kick that knocks Rubenstein off balance momentarily. Ispa looks to land a combination but Rubenstein avoids it well. Rubenstein looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Ispa lands a nice leg kick that just misses Rubenstein's sensitive parts. Ispa lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rubenstein takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Ispa closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rubenstein circles away. We've been informed that Rubenstein has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Ispa clinches up against the cage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rubenstein pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Ispa tries for a takedown but Rubenstein circles away easily and Rubenstein counters with a straight right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tank Ispa. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ispa closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Rubenstein's face as he tries to break the clinch. Rubenstein is looking to break free of the clinch but Ispa has double underhooks. Ispa throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Rubenstein avoids the elbow strike from Ispa, against the cage.
Ispa changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rubenstein fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Ispa connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. A big right from Ispa misses. Rubenstein looks like he wants to counter punch here. Rubenstein stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ispa. Rubenstein takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Ispa scores with a leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ispa misses with a kick to the body and Rubenstein counters with a stiff right hand. Ispa connects with a body shot. Ispa looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. A looping hook to the body misses from Ispa. Rubenstein does a little dance to reset his feet. Ispa moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromRubenstein. Ispa has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Alpha Brasil in the buildup to the fight. Ispa buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ispa cracks Rubenstein with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ispa is looking to score with low kicks. Ispa scores with a jab. Tank Ispa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ispa lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Ispa shoots in looking for a takedown but Rubenstein manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ispa's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Rubenstein is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Nice body kick from Ispa. Ispa looks to land a body kick but Rubenstein moved away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ispa tries for a takedown but Rubenstein sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Rubenstein swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Ispa swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Rubenstein. Ispa throws a leg kick and Rubenstein counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ispa lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rubenstein has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rubenstein and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Ispa shoots in but no luck this time. Rubenstein swats away the attempt to clinch by Ispa. Rubenstein looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Ispa doesn't manage to clinch there - Rubenstein circles away.
A little jabbing left from Rubenstein on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Rubenstein steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Ispa. That one must have hurt. Spencer Rubenstein is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Rubenstein takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Ispa buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ispa throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Rubenstein comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Ispa stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Rubenstein is on him like rabid pit bull! Ispa slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Spencer Rubenstein! A relieved looking Spencer Rubenstein thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
