Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mengrire Krenakore (ranked 2479 p4p, 2964 weight class) and Jarlaxle Baenre (ranked 281 p4p, 326 weight class). Krenakore's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Krenak Nak Inhauit Borum Rerre. Jarlaxle Baenre acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mengrire Krenakore! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jarlaxle Baenre! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baenre dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Krenakore. That did some damage! Some wild striking there from Krenakore.
Baenre is looking for the big counter here. Baenre throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Krenakore fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Baenre checks a low kick from Krenakore. Krenakore throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. A little jabbing left from Baenre on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Krenakore misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Krenakore throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Krenakore misses with a straight right. Baenre looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it. Baenre throws a body kick that misses. Krenakore sizes up Baenre with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Jarlaxle Baenre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Baenre swings away with a body shot that misses
and Krenakore cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Baenre is looking to clinch but Krenakore is avoiding it.
As Baenre backs away, Krenakore returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Baenre tries to clinch up but Krenakore circles away and keeps his distance. Krenakore's corner calls for a 1-2. Krenakore obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Baenre pushes Krenakore away with a front kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baenre closes the distance looking to clinch and Krenakore makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Baenre is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Krenakore is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Baenre. Baenre looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Baenre looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Baenre misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Krenakore drops Baenre with a right and a left! Krenakore comes rushing in but Baenre regains his composure and manages to keep Krenakore in guard.

It looks like Jarlaxle Baenre has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Krenakore throws a big right hand that misses. Baenre is still in real trouble! Can Krenakore finish him? Baenre working a defensive guard but Krenakore manages to pass into side control anyway.
Krenakore working away. Baenre seems to have recovered his senses. Baenre dodges the ground and pound from Krenakore. Krenakore has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krenakore postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Krenakore working the ground and pound but Baenre is defending the strikes. The ground and pound from Krenakore seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Baenre manages to work his way to half guard, despite Krenakore's best efforts. Baenre moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Baenre looking to hit a scissor sweep but Krenakore is one step ahead there. Krenakore in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Krenakore doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Baenre is tightening it up a little... Krenakore has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Krenakore reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Krenakore taps out! Nice BJJ there by Baenre!
