Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Quinan Jones (ranked 6736 p4p, 5269 weight class) and Curtis Rohl (ranked 615 p4p, 507 weight class). The key to victory for Quinan Jones has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Quinan Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Curtis Rohl!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rohl tries to clinch but Jones moves away
and Jones counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Rohl thinking.
Jones misses with a few strikes there.
Jones looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jones cracks Rohl with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Rohl smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Rohl misses with a low kick.
Rohl throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
A little feinted left hand from Jones on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Good work by Jones as he checks the leg kick.
Rohl fails in his attempt to clinch.

Rohl tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Rohl darts in looking for a takedown but Jones gets double underhooks and turns Rohl into the cage.
Jones lands with a cross.
Jones feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Rohls jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Jones misses the shot to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A head kick by Rohl misses
and Jones counters with a nice body shot.
Rohl checks the leg kick nicely there.
Rohl steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Jones.
A solid leg kick lands there for Rohl.
Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rohl circles away quickly and effectively.
Rohl moves into the clinch.
Rohl trying to land knees to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rohl will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Jones up against the cage.
Rohl trying to control the position but instead, Jones has worked for underhooks and has pushed Rohl into the cage.
Jones has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Rohl is trying to drag Jones to the mat but Jones just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Rohl misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Jones.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Rohl.
Jones breaks from the clinch.
Rohl throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Rohl throws a head kick but Jones moves out of range.
Jones circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rohl gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Rohl takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jones misses with a low kick.
Rohl takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Jones lands with a straight right. Rohl didn't see that one coming.
Jones gets in close and tags Rohl with a short punch that almost sends Rohl to the mat! Oh Rohl is in big trouble! He turns his back on Jones, trying to create some distance but Jones rushes him, striking wildly and Rohl goes down! The referee tackles Jones into the cage to end the fight! Jones is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Quinan Jones!
A relieved looking Quinan Jones thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
