Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cole Orion (ranked 782 p4p, 823 weight class) and Sergey Shipilov (ranked 101 p4p, 108 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Sergey Shipilov!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orion takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Shipilov connects with a high kick.
It looks like Cole Orion has been cut.
Shipilov throws a right and a left that both miss.
Orion looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Shipilov scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Orion slips a jab and a cross from Shipilov.
Orion feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Orion takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Shipilov throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Orion counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Shipilov's corner calls for a 1-2. Shipilov obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Orion looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Shipilov ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Shipilov takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Orion jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Shipilov ducks under a wild hook from Orion.

enabling Orion to counter with a crisp jab.

A nice side step and Shipilov releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Orion tried to score with a low kick but Shipilov checks it.

Shipilov buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Shipilov throws out a counter right but Orion avoids it with no problem.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Shipilov lands a hook that stumbles Orion back into the cage. Shipilov follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Orion to the canvas! Shipilov pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Orion has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Sergey Shipilov started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
