Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Cross (ranked 1610 p4p, 2868 weight class) and Bobby White (ranked 51 p4p, 109 weight class). Cross kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Folk Metal. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White swings widly with a right hand

and Cross counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Cross.
Cross presses White against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Bobby White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cross bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Cross connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
White uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cross.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that White has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

White throws a lazy right hand but Cross sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A little feinted left hand from Cross on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
White throws an overhand right that lands on Cross's shoulder, as Cross tries to avoid the shot.
White is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Cross staying out of range there.
Cross sizes up White with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
White fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Cross clinches up against the cage.
Cross tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Cross gets through White's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Cross is struggling to control the position.

White jumps guard but Cross stands there with White around his waist. White gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
