Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Fred Adams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thor White!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White throws out a powerful jab.
White is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Adams.

Adams has managed to clinch.
White is pushing Adams up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Adams is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
White looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Adams lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

It looks like Thor White has been cut.
Adams lands a nice knee to the body.
White avoiding damage as Adams throws knees to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Adams tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and White avoids it.

White manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
White wants to sweep here but Adams controlling him for the moment.

White has his foot on Adams's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Adams works his way back into a safe position though.

White is looking for a triangle but Adams pushes his legs off easily.

White looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Adams passes into half guard.

White actively working from the bottom here.

White is staying active underneath Adams, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
White regains full guard. Nicely done.

White looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
White looking to hit a scissor sweep but Adams is one step ahead there.

White is looking for a triangle but Adams pushes his legs off easily.

White is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Adams is aware though and is defending well.

White escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Adams gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Adams wants to control from the top but White keeps moving.
White pulls Adams in close to his closed guard and prevents Adams from doing any damage or advancing position.
Adams postures up.

White is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Adams defends well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

White looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

White is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
White is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

White trying to mount his opponent but Adams defends it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

White in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Adams tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from White!
