Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tom Fast (ranked 2472 p4p, 2919 weight class) and Conner Travers (ranked 274 p4p, 320 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 1, fighting out of New York, Tom Fast!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Conner Travers!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fast walks into a jab.

Fast gets in close and instigates a clinch.
A short uppercut from Fast.
Travers lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Fast stalling in the clinch but Travers improves position.
Travers gets through Fast's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Travers lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Fast backwards.
Fast fails to pull the fight into his guard.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Travers.
A shot in the inside from Travers.
Fast has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Travers is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Fast is trying to maintain a safe position but Travers gets an underhook and turns Fast into the cage.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Fast.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Travers breaks from the clinch.
Fast will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Travers misses with a wild combination.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Travers closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fast did well to prevent Travers getting side control.
Travers has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Fast defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Travers.
Fast working to try and regain half guard.

Travers working for a guillotine from mount but Fast is in no mood to give up.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fast is looking to get to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Travers is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Fast to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Fast shrugs it off.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Travers controlling his opponent.

Travers has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Fast is forced to tap!

Conner Travers decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
