The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Eddie Farnsworth and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clarke rushes Johnston and presses him up against the cage.
Johnston pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Johnston misses the shot to the body.
Johnston shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Clarke sprawls well. Clarke wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Johnston gets slowly back to his feet.
Johnston doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Clarke moves into the clinch.
Clarke manages to pull guard.
Johnston avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clarke has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Johnston can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Johnston is posturing up here but Clarke has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Johnston tries to roll out but it's too tight and Johnston has to tap! Slick submission there by Clarke!
