The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DiMaio misses with a looping left.
DiMaio moves into range and connects with a jab.
We've been informed that Beach Boy has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
DiMaio misses with a looping left.
DiMaio throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Beach Boy looks to score with a jab to the body but DiMaio is just out of range.
DiMaio throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Beach Boy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Beach Boy swings and misses with a hook to the body.
DiMaio tries to bum rush Beach Boy with a series of wild strikes but Beach Boy uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Beach Boy feints a counter leg kick.
Beach Boy misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Beach Boy fails with the takedown
and DiMaio counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Beach Boy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but DiMaio was well out of range. Poor timing from Beach Boy.
DiMaio lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
DiMaio avoids the head kick by Beach Boy.
DiMaio walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Beach Boy checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Beach Boy is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
DiMaio lands with a good body shot.
Beach Boy takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Beach Boy doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
DiMaio lands a glancing blow to the side of Beach Boy's head.
Beach Boy is rocked!

Beach Boy is aggressively charging in as DiMaio backs up avoiding any damage. DiMaio tosses out a jab and Beach Boy runs right into it face first! Beach Boy is out cold! DiMaio dropped down on all fours and is barking in Beach Boy's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Siete DiMaio!
Anderson Beach Boy was interviewed post fight and said 'Ha Ha Ha False laughter to hide the pain!'.
