Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Duncan Farquharson (ranked 2146 p4p, 3201 weight class) and Khosrov Hashempour (ranked 229 p4p, 323 weight class). Farquharson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Danny Vera - Roller Coaster. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hashempour misses with a left hand
and Farquharson counters with a head kick.
Farquharson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hashempour looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Farquharson ducks under a wild hook from Hashempour.
Farquharson slips a jab from Hashempour.
Hashempour looks to land a left hand but Farquharson moved out of range nicely.
Farquharson moves out of range as Hashempour strikes.
Farquharson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Farquharson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hashempour just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromFarquharson.
Farquharson seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Hashempour throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Farquharson moves away from the strike by Hashempour.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hashempour throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Farquharson counters with an inside leg kick.
Hashempour rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Farquharson makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Hashempour really felt that one!
Hashempour misses with a two punch combination.

Farquharson gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Hashempour is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Sloppy strikes from Hashempour. Those never looked like landing.
Farquharson throws a counter high kick but Hashempour was just alert enough to avoid it.
Farquharson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Both fighters circling a little - Farquharson finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Khosrov Hashempour seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hashempour misses with a right hand
and Farquharson counters with a big head kick but Hashempour shrugs it off.
Hashempour throws a poor cross that misses

and Farquharson counters with a crisp one two that drops Hashempour! Farquharson thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Hashempour to his feet! Hashempour is in big trouble!
Hashempour looks winded!
A nice leg kick from Farquharson, right into the meat of the thigh.
Hashempour throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Farquharson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Farquharson lands a big head kick that sends Hashempour tumbling to the mat! Farquharson takes a step backwards and waves Hashempour back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Farquharson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Hashempour might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Hashempour misses with an uppercut
and Farquharson counters with a monster hook and another for good measure! Hashempour falls to the ground, out cold! Stick some heavy metal music over the top of that clip and it's one for the highlight makers!
