Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pato Bravo (ranked 4450 p4p, 2960 weight class) and Jesse Lazrus (ranked 504 p4p, 298 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pato Bravo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Lazrus!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, John Kavanagh and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lazrus keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Bravo fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Lazrus wants to land a leg kick but Bravo is out of range.
Bravo tries to counter with a takedown but Lazrus is quick to defend against it.
Bravo fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Lazrus drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Bravo defends it well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pato Bravo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bravo slips a jab and a cross from Lazrus.
Bravo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Lazrus lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bravo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bravo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lazrus tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bravo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lazrus somewhat.
Bravo moves out of range of the body kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bravo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Lazrus manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lazrus defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bravo.
Horrible takedown attempt by Lazrus or perhaps it was just good defense by Bravo, which made it look bad.
Bravo seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Bravo dives in for a single leg takedown but Lazrus sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Lazrus pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Lazrus looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Bravo pushes Lazrus off but Lazrus dives into side control.

Lazrus has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Bravo is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Lazrus yanks on the arm and Bravo is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Lazrus.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jesse Lazrus!
