Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sun Chang (ranked 4326 p4p, 2757 weight class) and Monty Proffit (ranked 197 p4p, 134 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sun Chang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Monty Proffit!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chang fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Proffit has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Proffit has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Chang seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Proffit connects with a nice short shot to Chang's temple.

Proffit decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Chang enables Proffit to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Chang manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Chang lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Proffit looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chang is fending him off so far but Proffit persists. Nope, Chang circles away and we're back to standing.

Well Proffit has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
