The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grochowik looks to throw the jab but Anacoreta is out of range.
Grochowik jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Grochowik loads up on a big right hand but Anacoreta slips the punch.
Grochowik cracks Anacoreta with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Grochowik throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Anacoreta counters with a single leg into guard. Grochowik didn't expect that.
Anacoreta wants to control from the top but Grochowik keeps moving.
Grochowik wants to stand and escape but Anacoreta is having none of it.

Anacoreta works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Anacoreta is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Grochowik has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Anacoreta avoids the attempt from Grochowik to control.

Anacoreta is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Grochowik has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Grochowik!
