The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Killingsworth throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Ricardo Guimaraes has been cut. Guimaraes blocks a head kick by Killingsworth.
Adam Killingsworth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Guimaraes feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Killingsworth is looking to stand back up but Guimaraes counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Killingsworth. Guimaraes slows the pace down in half guard. Killingsworth is trying to stand.
Guimaraes works his foot free and advances to mount. Guimaraes lands a big shot there that rocks Killingsworth but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Guimaraes takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Guimaraes's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Guimaraes has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Ricardo Guimaraes just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Killingsworth misses with a head kick.

Killingsworth avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Killingsworth fails to land with a series of punches.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Killingsworth connects with a high kick. Guimaraes throws a hook but Killingsworth avoids it easily. Killingsworth buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Killingsworth is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Killingsworth misses with a few strikes there.
Killingsworth looks gassed! Guimaraes gets the takedown into side control. Guimaraes scores with punches from side control. This has been an exciting period of action! The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Killingsworth can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Guimaraes trying to control the position but Killingsworth is working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Guimaraes misses with a takedown attempt - Killingsworth sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Killingsworth misses with a head kick.
Killingsworth throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Guimaraes lands a jab to the nose. Guimaraes tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Killingsworth paws at him with a jab and circles away. Killingsworth moves forwards but Guimaraes connects with a nice, crisp jab. Adam Killingsworth is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Killingsworth looks to land a combination but Guimaraes avoids it well. Guimaraes shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Killingsworth avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Guimaraes prevents Killingsworth from getting back to his feet. Killingsworth is breathing heavily. Guimaraes controls from within his opponent's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Guimaraes looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Guimaraes passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Killingsworth!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Guimaraes controlling from mount.

Ricardo Guimaraes dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Ricardo Guimaraes's cut. That's time! Guimaraes's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Killingsworth lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Guimaraes throws the left hand but Killingsworth avoids the punch easily. No luck for Guimaraes with that takedown attempt. Killingsworth lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Killingsworth. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Killingsworth scores with a push kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Guimaraes avoids the head kick by Killingsworth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Killingsworth connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Killingsworth tries a head kick but it misses.

Killingsworth lands with a kick to the temple. Guimaraes shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Guimaraes throws a combination that misses and Killingsworth counters with a big head kick but Guimaraes shrugs it off.
Guimaraes is rocked! Killingsworth throws a sloppy head kick and Guimaraes moves out of range easily. Oh Guimaraes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Killingsworth feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Guimaraes crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
