Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Raul Kyshenko!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been hearing good reports from Silva's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Kyshenko is stalling here. Silva is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Kyshenko seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Silva has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Silva closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kyshenko quickly recovers to half guard.

Silva drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kyshenko looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kyshenko looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kyshenko!


Kyshenko is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Silva knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Silva is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Kyshenko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kyshenko has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Silva to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Kyshenko is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Silva pulls down on the head and he's put Kyshenko to sleep! This one is all over!
