The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Addams gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Dolton to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Addams is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Dolton.

Addams has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
The referee asks Dolton politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Dolton prefers to stall for the moment though.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Dolton has eaten all the pies!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Addams jabs Dolton right on the nose. Dolton blinks but takes it well.

Dolton fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Addams sprawls well initially but Dolton persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dolton is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Dolton softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Addams is out cold! Dolton jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
