Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Keith Nickels (ranked 2915 p4p, 24726 weight class) and Trike Quicky (ranked 291 p4p, 0 weight class). Quicky has chosen Tupac - Fortune and Fame as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Trike Quicky told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Keith Nickels!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Trike Quicky!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Steve Montenegro and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quicky lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Nickels leaves Quicky with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Quicky throws a leg kick which misses Nickels's front leg but catches the back leg as Nickels tries to avoid it.
Nickels tries for a takedown but Quicky sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Quicky shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nickels defends it nicely.
Nickels wants to clinch.
Quicky is looking for the big counter here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice takedown defense from Quicky. No joy for Nickels on that attempt.
Quicky throws a nice head kick!
Quicky scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Quicky tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Nickels defends well and Quicky ends up having to push Nickels into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Keith Nickels has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trike Quicky.
Quicky throws a nice head kick!

Nickels tries to close the distance and clinch but Quicky swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nickels misses with a takedown attempt - Quicky sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Quicky is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Nickels changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Quicky tries to avoid it but Nickels manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Quicky to the ground. Quicky escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Quicky stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Quicky wants it to stay on the feet.
Nickels shoots in and drives through. Quicky sprawls well.
Quicky goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Nickels shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Quicky lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Nickels takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Quicky clinches up with Nickels and pushes him back against the cage.
Quicky's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Quicky breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Quicky looks to land a combination but Nickels avoids it well.
Nickels is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Quicky.
Quicky looks winded!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Quicky moves into the clinch.
Quicky breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nickels shoots in looking for a takedown. Quicky tries to sprawl out of it but Nickels keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Quicky manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
As Nickels backs off Quicky throws a huge counter combo but Nickels manages to avoid it all.
Nickels has a takedown stuffed.
Quicky tries to bum rush Nickels with a series of wild strikes but Nickels uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Nickels misses with a combination
and Quicky counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Nickels is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
As Nickels backs off Quicky throws a huge counter combo but Nickels manages to avoid it all.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Quicky shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nickels as he jumps to the side.
Quicky tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Nickels defends well and Quicky ends up having to push Nickels into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Nickels closes the distance and clinches up with Quicky, looking for a takedown. Nickels pushes Quicky against the cage but Quicky circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Nickels dives in and grabs Quicky's left leg, looking for a takedown. Quicky pushes down on Nickels's head and hops out.
Quicky shoots in looking for a takedown but Nickels manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Quicky's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Nickels wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Nickels fails with the takedown.
Nickels throws a half hearted mid kick.
Nickels swats away the attempt to clinch by Quicky.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Nickels doesn't manage to clinch there - Quicky circles away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nickels is defended easily by Quicky.

Nickels stuffs the takedown attempt from Quicky. Quicky gets slowly back to his feet.
Nickels wants to clinch.
Quicky is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Nickels really is a fat lump.
Quicky slips a jab and a cross from Nickels.
Quicky keeps the fight on the outside.

Nickels half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Trike Quicky dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Nickels.
Quicky bucks up and tries to throw Nickels off but instead Nickels has got his back!
Quicky has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Nickels lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Quicky really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nickels. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Quicky won't enjoy being in this position. Nickels looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Quicky is tapping - it's over boys! Nickels picks up the submission victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Keith Nickels!
The defeated Trike Quicky had this to say: 'Aw man, not again. I hate losing. But I will come back stronger! '.
