Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, John Kavanagh and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaowd shoots in for a takedown but Spahn shows good takedown defense.
Spahn changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Spahn shoots in and bounces Kaowd off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Spahn's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Spahn lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Kaowd looking to hit a scissor sweep but Spahn is one step ahead there.
Kaowd looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Spahn has picked Kaowd up and slammed him! Kaowd can't keep hold of the triangle and Spahn manages to pass to side control!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kaowd is looking to reverse the position.

Spahn scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Kaowd is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Spahn can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

After winning the bout, Rik Spahn thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
