Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tourney Warrior (ranked 4266 p4p, 6950 weight class) and Karl Childers (ranked 368 p4p, 510 weight class). Karl Childers has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tourney Warrior! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Karl Childers! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Childers instigates a clinch. Childers looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Childers tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Warrior smiles and moves away.

Warrior throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Childerss head. Childers takes a shot to the head. Childers missing with knees to the body.
Childers is trying to break free. Childers tries to pull guard but Warrior won't allow it.
Childers throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Warrior blocks it with crossed arms. Childers pulls guard effortlessly. Childers working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Warrior doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Warrior manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Childers has an active guard here but Warrior has managed to pass into half guard.
Warrior wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Childers wants to improve his position but Warrior is controlling well.
Warrior wants to stand up but Childers has a hold of him and won't allow it. Childers is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Warrior pulls his head out easily. Childers looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Childers looking for submissions off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Childers actively working from the bottom here. Warrior escapes and gets back to his feet. Childers misses with a leg kick and Warrior counters by moving into the clinch. Childers jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Warrior walks away with a smile on his face. Childers gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Tourney Warrior has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Karl Childers. Good standup being displayed there by Warrior as he connects with a hook. Childers throws a head kick that misses. Childers lands a high kick!
Warrior keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Karl Childers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Childers closes the distance and pushes Warrior back into the cage. Childers successfully pulls guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Warrior wants to stand but Childers has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Childers has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Warrior can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Childers bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Warrior's guard. Warrior is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Warrior keeping full guard, as Childers tries to pass. Warrior wants to stand and escape but Childers is having none of it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Warrior keeping moving, preventing Childers from controlling successfully.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Karl Childers dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Childers with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Childers throws a head kick that misses. Warrior swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Childers tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Childers moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Childers throws a quick inside leg kick. Childers has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Childers takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Warrior blocks a head kick by Childers.
Childers is looking to land body kicks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A low kick lands for Warrior.
Childers misses with a body kick. Childers clinches up against the cage. Warrior lands a nice uppercut. Warrior swings wildly with an uppercut but Childers uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Childers is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Warrior to keep the fight standing. Warrior gets through Childers's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Warrior presses Childers against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Warrior throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Childerss head. A shot in the inside from Warrior. Childers tries to break free but Warrior pushes him back against the cage. Childers tries to pull guard but Warrior holds him up against the cage and eventually Childers drops back down to his feet.
Childers tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Warrior just stands there and leans against the cage. Tourney Warrior has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Karl Childers. Warrior pushes Childers back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Warrior swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Warrior lands with a light punch inside. Warrior works on Childers's body with a couple of short punches. Tourney Warrior has scored more points in the clinch so far. Warrior scores with a nice hook to the head. Childers with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Childers misses with a knee strike.
Childers is breathing heavily. Warrior throws a punch but it's blocked by Childers. Warrior lands a left hand that snaps the head of Childers backwards.

Childers is rocked! Warrior lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Childers is still on wobbly legs! Can Warrior finish him? Warrior lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. A nice right hand lands inside from Warrior.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Childers is trying to push Warrior away but Warrior has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Warrior lands a big right hand that drops Childers! The killer instinct kicks in and Warrior finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Warrior!
