Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rik Spahn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Lazrus!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Steve Montenegro and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lazrus darts in looking for a takedown but Spahn gets double underhooks and turns Lazrus into the cage.
Spahn drops down looking for a counter takedown but Lazrus sprawls and moves away.
Spahn shoots in but no luck this time.

Spahn shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Lazrus is trying to defend but Spahn finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Lazrus keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Spahn lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Lazrus! More strikes land and this one is all over! Spahn jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
