The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinks slips a straight right by Bukowski.
Pinks is looking to counter punch.

Bukowski clinches up with Pinks and pushes him back against the cage.
Pinks lands with a left to the head.

Pinks's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bukowski dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bukowski throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Pinks bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Bukowski lands a nice looking body shot.
Pinks keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
An attempted straight right counter from Pinks misses the target.

Pinks displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bukowski throws out the jab.

Pinks was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

It looks like Charles Bukowski has been cut.
We've been told by Pinks's head coaches at Fist of Fury Training Center that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Pinks lands a nice shot to the body.
Pinks swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Bukowski tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Pinks swings for the body but Bukowski moves out of range.
Bukowski let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bukowski lands a glancing blow to the side of Pinks's head.

Devonte Pinks is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Pinks counters with a stiff right hand.
A nice inside leg kick there by Pinks. That's going to slow Bukowski down.
Pinks ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bukowski moves away.
Pinks throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Bukowski has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Bukowski tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Pinks slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Devonte Pinks spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
