PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dosh Oh (ranked 4367 p4p, 3412 weight class) and Gilbert Dawson (ranked 432 p4p, 358 weight class). Gilbert Dawson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oh takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

It looks like Dosh Oh has been cut.
Dawson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Good work by Oh as he checks the leg kick.
Dawson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Oh tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dawson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Oh somewhat.

That was a close round but I would say that Dosh Oh will probably get the nod.
