Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Audie Graham !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jaap Dolman!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Graham forces Dolman back against the cage and clinches.

Graham turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Graham tries to advance to mount but Dolman denies him.
Dolman is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Graham working the ground and pound but Dolman is defending the strikes.
Dolman is pushing Graham 's head away, looking to escape. Graham manages to hold on to the position though.
Graham is looking to take a break and control but Dolman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Dolman is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Graham content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Dolman is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Graham has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Graham tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Dolman pushes Graham away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Graham gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Graham tries to clinch but Dolman is having none of it.
Dolman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Graham as he jumps to the side.

Dolman pushes Graham off and gets back to his feet.

Graham fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dolman sprawls well initially but Graham persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Dolman has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Graham stops Dolman from getting back to his feet.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Graham connects with a nice short shot to Dolman's temple.

Dolman kicks Graham off and gets back to his feet.
Dolman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Dolman gets caught napping as Graham dives in and scores a takedown. Dolman manages to retain guard.

Dolman pushes Graham off and gets back to his feet.
Dolman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Graham 's waist but Graham gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dolman off to one side.
Audie Graham has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jaap Dolman.

Graham gets a takedown into half guard.

Dolman manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Graham keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Graham is breathing heavily.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Graham works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Dolman scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Dolman jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Dolman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Graham as he jumps to the side.

Graham digs a good hook to Dolman's body.
Graham tries to clinch but Dolman is having none of it.

Dolman gets caught flat footed, as Graham shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Dolman has his feet on Graham 's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Dolman is pushing Graham 's head away, looking to escape. Graham manages to hold on to the position though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dolman gets to his feet - Graham follows without any prompting.
Jaap Dolman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Graham changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dolman looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Dolman explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Graham takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Dolman smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Dolman shoots in but Graham avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Graham decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Dolman has one foot on Graham 's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Dolman throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Graham shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Graham was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Dolman throws Graham to one side and escapes!

Dolman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dolman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Graham is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dolman is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Graham has escaped the position, nice work there.
Graham is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Dolman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Graham but Graham pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Graham changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Graham has Dolman up against the cage in a clinch.
Dolman tries to break free but Graham pushes him back against the cage.

Graham has picked Dolman up - he's going for a ride! Graham dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Dolman has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Graham is on him like a limpet, forcing Dolman back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Graham turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Graham manages to end up in side control.

Dolman bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dolman connects with a solid leg kick.

Graham lands a nice looking kick to the body. Dolman takes a step back to recover.
Dolman throws out a loose jab but Graham uses good head movement to avoid it.

Graham dives in and scores a takedown into Dolman's guard.

Dolman is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Dolman has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Graham has Dolman pressed against the cage, preventing Dolman from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Dolman seems to be working for a kimura but Graham defends the submission attempt.

Dolman is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Graham defends it well.

Dolman takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Graham looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Dolman!

Dolman sneaks out the side door and pushes Graham away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Dolman closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dolman lands in his opponent's guard.
Graham controls Dolman momentarily but Dolman frees himself.
Dolman chips away with some ground and pound.
Jaap Dolman is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Dolman stands up from Graham 's guard - Dolman perhaps looking for a knockout.

Dolman is controlling the pace.

Dolman decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Dolman shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Graham is trying to defend but Dolman finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
