Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Peter Difin (ranked 24570 p4p, 24573 weight class) and Casper Blackwater (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peter Difin is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Peter Difin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Casper Blackwater! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Tarja Halkonen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Difin is looking to clinch. Difin looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Difin has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Blackwater is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Difin is aware though and is defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blackwater isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Difin stacks Blackwater on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Difin! You can see the frustration on Blackwater's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Difin controlling from side mount. Difin lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Blackwater tries to buck Difin off but Difin is having none of it. Blackwater gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Blackwater trying to control here.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Blackwater looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Blackwater looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Difin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Blackwater with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Blackwater looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Blackwater is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Difin pulls his head out easily. Difin seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Blackwater fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Peter Difin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Casper Blackwater. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Blackwater closes the distance and clinches up with Difin, looking for a takedown. Blackwater pushes Difin against the cage but Difin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Difin is looking to counter the offense by Blackwater and move into the clinch. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Difin throws a series of punches but Blackwater avoids them all with ease. Blackwater with the counter takedown but Difin avoids it easily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Blackwater. A big left from Difin misses. Blackwater has a takedown stuffed. Donk. Difin catches Blackwater right on the button with a cross. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Difin moves in looking to clinch but Blackwater pushes him off. Blackwater has a takedown stuffed. Difin is trying to control the action in half guard but Blackwater is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Difin is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Blackwater tries to buck Difin off but Difin is having none of it. Difin taking a breather here. Difin working away.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Blackwater changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Difin tries to avoid it but Blackwater manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Difin to the ground. Difin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Difin looking to score a takedown here. Blackwater is defending well but Difin drives through and ends up in Blackwater's guard. Blackwater working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Difin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Difin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Difin shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Blackwater manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Blackwater is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Difin has his hands clasped together but Blackwater extends and breaks Difin's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Blackwater.
