And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 9 wins and 3 losses; Long Schlong!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Schlong shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Schlong tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mata defends well and Schlong ends up having to push Mata into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Mata is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Mata manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Schlong manages to get himself to full guard.

Mata stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Schlong swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Mata paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Schlong - great work!

Long Schlong decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. |
