Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adils Hallbjornsson (ranked 479 p4p, 821 weight class) and Maksud Magomedov (ranked 62 p4p, 94 weight class). Hallbjornsson comes into the arena with Herr Mannelig blaring out of the sound system. Magomedov comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Lezginka - Kavkaz kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Magomedov throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Magomedov jabs Hallbjornsson right on the nose. Hallbjornsson blinks but takes it well.
Hallbjornsson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Magomedov walks into a straight right hand from Hallbjornsson.
Magomedov dives in for a single leg takedown but Hallbjornsson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Magomedov throws a big shot that misses.
It looked like Hallbjornsson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
A jab from Hallbjornsson finds it's way through Magomedov's defenses.

Hallbjornsson takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Magomedov takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Hallbjornsson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Hallbjornsson thuds a left hand into Magomedov's body.
Magomedov looks winded!
Hallbjornsson leaves Magomedov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Magomedov throws a lazy right hand but Hallbjornsson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Magomedov misses with an uppercut
enabling Hallbjornsson to counter with a crisp jab.
Hallbjornsson lands with a thumping leg kick.
Hallbjornsson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Fist of Fury Training Center in the buildup to the fight.
Magomedov takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hallbjornsson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Nice sprawl there from Hallbjornsson as Magomedov shoots in.
Adils Hallbjornsson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maksud Magomedov.
Magomedov tries for a takedown but Hallbjornsson circles away easily

and Hallbjornsson counters with a crisp right hand that drops Magomedov! Hallbjornsson lets Magomedov back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Magomedov is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hallbjornsson is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Magomedov flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Magomedov is out cold! Hallbjornsson holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
