The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Puff closes the distance and clinches.

Puff breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Bullion gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Puff is trying to push Bullion away but Bullion has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Bullion fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Bullion drops down looking for an ankle pick but Puff pulls his leg out and moves away.

Puff shoots in for a double leg but Bullion sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bullion throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Puff swats away the attempt to clinch by Bullion.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Puff is trying to force a seperation but Bullion has the dominant position.

Bullion breaks the clinch.
Puff throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Puff breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Puff shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bullion as he avoids it easily.
Bullion tries to close the distance and clinch up but Puff swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bullion walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Puff looks to land a combination. Bullion sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Silver Bullion has been cut.
We've been told by Bullion's head coaches at whitey's gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Puff throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bullion dives in and grabs Puff's left leg, looking for a takedown. Puff pushes down on Bullion's head and hops out.
Puff misses with a double jab.
Bullion tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Puff manages to circle out of the way.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bullion takes the fight into the clinch.
Bullion fails to pull guard.
Bullion jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Puff walks away with a smile on his face. Bullion gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Puff misses with a head kick.

Puff clinches up against the cage.
Bullion jumps guard but Puff stands there with Bullion around his waist. Bullion gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Puff keeps the fight on the outside.
Some bone on bone action there as Bullion checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Bullion wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

As Puff looks to move away, Bullion throws a big counter combo but Puff just gets out of the way.

Puff tries a head kick but it misses.
Bullion looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Puff misses with a double jab.
Bullion fails with an attempt to clinch.
Puff misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Puff misses with a wild combination.
Puff throws a nice looking combination but Bullion bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bullion wants to clinch up but Puff keeps it at a distance.

Puff stuffs the takedown attempt from Bullion. Bullion gets slowly back to his feet.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Puff drives through and clinches with Bullion against the cage.
Bullion tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Puff smiles and moves away.

Bullion is looking to counter the offense by Puff and move into the clinch.
Bullion loses concentration momentarily and Puff pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Bullion crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Puff finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
