Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chad Bartz (ranked 2874 p4p, 7191 weight class) and Sig Sauer (ranked 361 p4p, 678 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Bartz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sig Sauer!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sauer tries a low kick but Bartz avoids it.
Sauer takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Bartz darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Bartz tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Bartz throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Bartz lands with an uppercut that bounces Sauer off the cage and back into range.
Sauer needs to keep his hands up - Bartz had a free shot at his head there.
It looks like Sig Sauer has been cut.
Sauer lands a nice shot that snaps Bartz's head back.
Bartz scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Bartz swings away with a body shot that misses
and Sauer counters with a stiff right hand.
Sauer throws a hook to the side of Bartz's head but Bartz sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Sauer defending well as Bartz loads up on a big left hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bartz moves out of range as Sauer throws a body kick.

Sauer moves out of range as Bartz strikes.
A swing and a miss from Sauer.
Sauer throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Sauer takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Sauer wants to clinch but Bartz slips to the side
and Bartz counters with a left to the body.
Bartz misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sauer.

Sauer looks to score with a jab to the body but Bartz is just out of range.
Sauer loads up on a big right hand but Bartz slips the punch.
Sauer ducks under a wild hook from Bartz.
Sauer rushes Bartz and presses him up against the cage.

Sauer is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Bartz misses with a punch to the body.
Sauer jumps guard but Bartz stands there with Sauer around his waist. Sauer gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That has opened up Sig Sauer's cut even more.
Bartz lands a left hand that snaps the head of Sauer backwards.
Bartz cracks Sauer with a nice body shot.

Bartz digs a right hand underneath Sauer's ribcage. Sauer let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Bartz lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Bartz drops Sauer onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Sauer is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Sauer is rocked!
The fighters are playing wrist control here with Sauer pressed against the cage. Bartz frees himself up and cracks Sauer with an uppercut straight from the bowels of hell! Sauer crumples to the floor, out cold! Bartz jumps on to the cage and takes in the roar of the crowd! That was nasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Chad Bartz!
In his post fight interview, Chad Bartz started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
