Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ali Jabbar (ranked 4019 p4p, 3985 weight class) and Training Dummy (ranked 436 p4p, 434 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ali Jabbar !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Training Dummy!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Felipe Paraventi and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jabbar closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Jabbar is looking to take a break and control but Dummy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Dummy tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jabbar wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Dummy is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Jabbar 's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Dummy tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Jabbar is controlling the pace.
Dummy wants to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Dummy not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jabbar looking to control the position here, rather than advance.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Dummy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jabbar sprawls well. Jabbar wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dummy gets slowly back to his feet.

Jabbar feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Dummy looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jabbar with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Jabbar is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dummy's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dummy's back!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jabbar seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Dummy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jabbar paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jabbar leaves Dummy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Dummy shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Ali Jabbar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Dummy takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Jabbar is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Dummy can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Dummy is looking to improve his position but Jabbar isn't that keen on the idea.
