PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ashton Currie (ranked 5024 p4p, 7170 weight class) and Michael Sizemore (ranked 580 p4p, 734 weight class). Sizemore is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Go Get It. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Michael Sizemore!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sizemore gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Currie.
Currie thuds his right hand into Sizemore's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Sizemore rushes Currie and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Sizemore seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Michael Sizemore will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Currie's jab looks to have found its range, popping Sizemore under the eye.

Currie throws an overhand right that drops Sizemore like a sack of potatoes! Currie dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

In defeat, Michael Sizemore stepped up to the mic, saying 'You know we came and gave our all, just wasn't enough or a bad plan. We'll head back train harder and return better. '.
