Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Derrick Thomas (ranked 6921 p4p, 6846 weight class) and Jason Hightower (ranked 193 p4p, 178 weight class). Hightower has chosen The Power as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Hightower!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hightower tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The fighters circling - Thomas throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hightower was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Derrick Thomas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

BAM! Hightower delivers a spinning backfist that drops Thomas like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
