Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gia Sidao (ranked 25126 p4p, 5746 weight class) and Darius Frank (ranked 747 p4p, 624 weight class). Frank is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Trapper x Foogiano . Darius Frank is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice straight punches there by Frank. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Frank.

It looks like Gia Sidao has been cut.
Darius Frank seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Frank shoots in and gets a takedown into Sidao's guard.
Sidao wants to stand and escape but Frank is having none of it.
Frank is stalling in the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Frank is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Frank slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Sidao is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Frank is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Frank sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sidao's guard.

Frank is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sidao doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Frank.

Frank looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Frank with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

Frank maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Sidao could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Frank has cracked it and Sidao is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Frank!
