The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGregor throws a sloppy head kick
and Williams counters with a straight right hand.
McGregor scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Good exchange - Williams coming out on top.
McGregor lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Williams moves forwards but McGregor connects with a nice, crisp jab.
McGregor uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Williams has time to react.
McGregor tries a low kick but Williams avoids it.

Williams fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McGregor manages to avoid it.

Williams looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McGregor is fending him off so far but Williams persists. Nope, McGregor circles away and we're back to standing.

McGregor connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

McGregor feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Williamss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Williams tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McGregor was well out of range. Poor timing from Williams.

McGregor is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Williams can do to turn this around?

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Williams throws a nice looking combination but McGregor bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Williams tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A nice leg kick from McGregor, right into the meat of the thigh.
Williams's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
A punch lands to the side of Williams 's head but he takes it in his stride.

McGregor drops Williams with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Williams looks back up at him and smiles so McGregor waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

McGregor throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Williams crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
