Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chonen looks to land a left hand but Maker moved out of range nicely.
Chonen moves into range and connects with a jab.

It looks like Money Maker has been cut.

Maker tries to close the distance and clinch but Chonen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Chonen throws a hook to the side of Maker 's head but Maker sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Maker scores with a jab. Chonen acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Maker falls off balance throwing a combination
and Chonen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Maker tries to clinch but Chonen is having none of it.

Chonen has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Maker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chonen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Maker tries to land a front kick but Chonen steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Maker moves in looking to clinch but Chonen pushes him off.
Maker is still on wobbly legs! Can Chonen finish him?
Maker misses with a head kick.
Chonen cracks Maker with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Maker tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Chonen pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Maker is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
