Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Gordon (ranked 782 p4p, 1564 weight class) and Tyson Asakura (ranked 113 p4p, 227 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Asakura's choice of entrance music: JJBA - Giorno's Theme. Tyson Asakura is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asakura looks to land a right hand but Gordon moved out of range.
Gordon shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gordon showed some decent athleticism there.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Asakura is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gordon pulls his head out easily.
We've been hearing good reports from Gordon's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
