Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andy Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Mclain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Andy Kane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank Mclain! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kane rushes Mclain and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kane misses with a knee strike.
Kane with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
It looks like Frank Mclain has been cut. Kane manages to break the clinch.
Mclain fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kane checks it well. Mclain is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Mclain has a takedown stuffed. Mclain will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mclain attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Mclain drives through with a takedown into guard. Kane trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Kane avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kane has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kane throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Mclain preventing the sweep. Kane has momentary wrist control but Mclain slips an elbow through the middle. Mclain trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kane's guard. Mclain controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Kane tries to strike from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Mclain shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Kane throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Kane is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Mclain really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kane. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kane trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Mclain trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kane's guard. Mclain looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kane is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Kane thows a huge punch but Mclain dodges it nicely.
Mclain has hold of Kane's hands but Kane slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Mclain is trying to stand.
Kane not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Kane drops an elbow to the side of Mclain's head. Mclain trying to hold on to Kane's head to control him but Kane postures up.
Mclain is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kane scores with a couple of nice shots. Kane winds up and cracks Mclain with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Kane lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kane lands a nice short elbow. Mclain has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kane is working away from the top position though. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kane connects with a nice short shot to Mclain's temple. Nice strikes from Kane there. Nice strikes from Kane there. Kane missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Mclain blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kane. Kane working the head and body with strikes. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Kane winds up and cracks Mclain with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mclain misses with a hook. Kane wants to clinch and Mclain counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Mclain blocks the strikes from Kane.

A close round but Frank Mclain will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Frank Mclain's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Mclain closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kane circles away. Mclain looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kane is fending him off so far but Mclain persists. Nope, Kane circles away and we're back to standing. Kane closes the distance and pushes Mclain back into the cage. Kane with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Kane manages to break the clinch.
Mclain has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kane breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kane looks to land a combination but Mclain avoids it well. Mclain will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Andy Kane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Mclain. Kane plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mclain forces Kane back against the cage and clinches. Mclain gets underhooks to prevent Kane's takedown attempt.

A head punch on the inside from Kane fails to land. Mclain scores with a shoulder strike. Kane looking to throw knees to the head but Mclain is blocking nicely.

Kane breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Mclain shoots in for a double leg but Kane sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Kane works over Mclain's head and body with a nice combination. Andy Kane is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mclain looks for a takedown but Kane sprawls well. Mclain fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Mclain has closed the distance and engaged Kane in a clinch.

Kane throws a sloppy head kick and Mclain moves out of range easily. Mclain tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kane paws at him with a jab and circles away. Mclain shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kane as he jumps to the side. Frank Mclain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mclain will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Mclain blocks a head kick by Kane.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kane darts in and clinches Mclain up against the cage. Mclain tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kane just stands there and leans against the cage. Kane tries to land a knee to the head but Mclain blocks with his arms.
Kane goes for a takedown attempt but Mclain pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Mclain throws a head kick that misses and Kane counters with a three punch combo that has Mclain backing up. Mclain nods at Kane to acknowledge the strikes. Kane closes the distance and clinches. Kane tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Kane misses with an elbow over the top. Mclain pulls guard effortlessly. Kane lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Kane lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Kane might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Mclain had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kane is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Mclain Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kane's back instead. Mclain has the hooks in. Kane is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Kane works over Mclain with some ground and pound from guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mclain can do anything to dispel that myth. Kane lands a couple of elbows. Kane throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Kane lands a couple of elbows. Mclain had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kane is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Mclain Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kane's back instead. Mclain shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kane as he jumps to the side. A nice inside leg kick there by Kane. That's going to slow Mclain down. Mclain scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Kane striking from half guard on the bottom. Kane punching from the bottom.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kane moves into full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kane thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Kane trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Kane trying to strike off his back.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mclain sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Kane circles away from the clinch attempt and Kane counters by clinching up. Kane looking for a takedown. Kane changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Mclain fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Mclain throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kane stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Mclain with a lazy takedown attempt and Kane counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Mclain! Mclain tries to lock up and control but Kane gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Kane with a couple of short strikes. Kane fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Kane is in the full mount, landing strikes. A nice elbow there by Kane. Kane has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Mclain's face.
Mclain is bucking up trying to escape but Kane cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Mclain can't escape the position.

Mclain is looking to improve his position but Kane isn't that keen on the idea. Kane avoids the attempt from Mclain to control. Kane landing shots from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mclain is desperately trying to improve his position but Kane has a good base and remains in mount. Kane connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Kane landing strikes, looking to finish! Mclain tries to buck Kane off but he can't manage it. Mclain regains half guard. Kane working Mclain over with strikes. Mclain is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kane scores with a couple of nice shots. Kane not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Kane working over Mclain with some ground and pound. Mclain looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Mclain trying to control from the bottom.
Kane looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Mclain with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Kane works his foot free and advances to mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Andy Kane showed his dominance in that final round. Well Kane has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
