PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Asiago Dillon (ranked 6394 p4p, 24435 weight class) and Joe Ou (ranked 457 p4p, 516 weight class). Ou has chosen Life Will Change as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Asiago Dillon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Ou!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ou clinches with his opponent.
Dillon throws a punch but it's blocked by Ou.

Ou breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dillon wants to clinch

and before Dillon can reset, Ou rushes him with a swarm of punches, sending him crashing to the floor, in all sorts of trouble! Dillon is trying to beat the count but we're up to 6 already and he's nowhere near. 7,8... he's up! He's going to continue!

Ou takes the fight into the clinch.

Ou breaks the clinch.

Ou has Dillon up against the cage in a clinch.
Dillon just leaning against Ou, taking a breather.
Dillon using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Ou has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Dillon can't break the clinch.
Ou managing to block the knees to the body from Dillon.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Ou breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Dillon moves into the clinch successfully.

Ou manages to break the clinch.

Ou forces Dillon back against the cage and clinches.

Ou breaks from the clinch.

Ou clinches up with Dillon and pushes him back against the cage.
Ou content to slow the pace in the clinch.

Dillon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Ou has managed to clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Ou - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Dillon misses with a body punch.
Ou stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Ou breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ou throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ou misses with the combination.
Dillon loads up on a big right hand but Ou slips the punch.

Ou gets a clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ou gets through Dillon's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Dillon using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Ou has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Ou breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Ou closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Dillon misses with a hook from the clinch.
Dillon wants to get back to striking at distance but Ou won't allow it.

Ou manages to break the clinch.
Ou connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dillon. Dillon circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Ou works over Dillon's head and body with a nice combination.

Ou closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Dillon crashing to the mat! Dillon uses the cage to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue!

Dillon is rocked!

It looks like Asiago Dillon has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dillon walks into a perfectly timed head kick by Ou and drops face first to the floor! Dillon's eyes are wide open but he's not all there - he's just flopping around the mat like a drunk on rollerskates! The referee doesn't even start the count - he's called an end to the fight, with Dillon in no position to continue!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Joe Ou!
As Joe Ou got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: SO TROLL'.
