Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dude Rude (ranked 4840 p4p, 24611 weight class) and Ricky Stuart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricky Stuart is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ricky Stuart!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rude misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rude scores with a decent looking hook.
Stuart displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rude.
Rude throws a shot from downtown. Stuart moves away and avoids it.
Rude feints a jab promting Stuart to slip. Rude then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Stuart slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Stuart tries for a takedown but Rude sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Rude tries to counter by clinching up but Stuart breaks away and moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stuart looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rude is fending him off so far but Stuart persists. Nope, Rude circles away and we're back to standing.
Rude seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Stuart takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Stuart changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rude tries to avoid it but Stuart manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rude to the ground. Rude escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Stuart closes the distance and pushes Rude back into the cage.
Rude can't break the clinch.
Stuart has Rude pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rude manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Stuart drags the fight down to the ground.
Rude stands up and waves to Stuart to follow him.

Rude bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Rude has closed the distance and engaged Stuart in a clinch.
Stuart is still on wobbly legs! Can Rude finish him?
Rude's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Stuart wants to stay close but Rude steps back to make room for something. Stuart seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Rude and Stuart drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
