Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnpaul Stokes (ranked 2971 p4p, 4641 weight class) and Jack Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Johnpaul Stokes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Kelly! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stokes shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Stokes with a flurry of punches that miss. Stokes trying to control but Kelly is working from the bottom. Stokes has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Kelly being controlled here, momentarily. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Stokes trying his best to control but Kelly has mounted him. Kelly landing strikes, looking to finish! Stokes bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! Kelly feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Stokes trying to control the position.

and Kelly holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Kelly successfully pulls guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Stokes throwing shots but Kelly is blocking nicely. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Stokes with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kelly feints and as Stokes raises his hands in defense, Kelly changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Stokes wants to get back to his feet but Kelly passes into half guard.
Stokes is trying to maintain the position but Kelly is very close to passing his half guard. Kelly perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Let's hope that Kelly has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kelly is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Stokes sees it coming and defends easily. Kelly has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Stokes makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Stokes. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kelly is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Kelly comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Kelly has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
