Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Morioka Shigemasa (ranked 2496 p4p, 6970 weight class) and Andrei Averyanov (ranked 314 p4p, 685 weight class). Shigemasa's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Keith Ape - It G Ma. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andrei Averyanov!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Winston Howard and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shigemasa throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Averyanov looks like he wants to counter punch here.

The fighters circling - Shigemasa throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Averyanov ducks under a wild hook from Shigemasa.
Averyanov clobbers Shigemasa with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Averyanov looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Averyanov thows a body kick. Shigemasa tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Shigemasa avoids the head kick by Averyanov.

and Shigemasa counters with a nice body shot.
Averyanov lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Averyanov is looking to land body kicks.
Shigemasa throws a leg kick that is checked
and Shigemasa takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Shigemasa throws a lazy uppercut
and Averyanov counters with a good low kick that Shigemasa was not able to check.
Nice uppercut lands for Averyanov. That snapped Shigemasa's head back.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Averyanov drops Shigemasa with a big left hand! Shigemasa is injured, injured bad! Averyanov jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

In his post fight interview, Andrei Averyanov started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
