Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Long Hung Dong (ranked 674 p4p, 346 weight class) and CJ Tripp (ranked 101 p4p, 53 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, CJ Tripp!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Paul Tew and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tripp throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Dong cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

A looping hook to the body misses from Tripp. Dong does a little dance to reset his feet.
Dong throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

That was a close round but I would say that Long Hung Dong will probably get the nod.

Dong lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Dong crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Tripp - the referee stops the clock and Dong gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Tripp. Dong manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
