And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Abdul Azizsbatereja!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Anthony Taglia and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mateis Laeiro closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Azizsbatereja to the mat! Azizsbatereja manages to get full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Mateis Laeiro drops back looking for a leg! Azizsbatereja is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Azizsbatereja manages to kick Mateis Laeiro off! Mateis Laeiro jumps back into Azizsbatereja's guard.
Mateis Laeiro is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Mateis Laeiro stands and throws Azizsbatereja's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Mateis Laeiro is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Azizsbatereja is trying to escape and Mateis Laeiro transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Azizsbatereja is forced to tap! Nice work there by Mateis Laeiro! Very nice indeed!
