Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ashwin Tyson (ranked 1147 p4p, 24026 weight class) and Elias Hosia (ranked 138 p4p, 656 weight class). Hosia has chosen Till I COLLAPSE as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Bruno Lombardi and Anthony Taglia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hosia fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Tyson to the ground. Hosia is now in Tyson's guard.
Hosia postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Hosia keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Tyson's head.

Tyson has momentary wrist control but Hosia slips an elbow through the middle.
Hosia wants to pass the guard but Tyson is keeping the position.

Tyson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Tyson controls Hosia momentarily but Hosia frees himself.
Hosia missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Hosia with a flurry of punches that miss.
Hosia postures up in Tyson's guard and throws a big left but Tyson blocks it.
Tyson wants to sweep but no luck.

Hosia thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Hosia drops back looking for a leg! Tyson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tyson manages to kick Hosia off! Hosia jumps back into Tyson's guard.

Hosia drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Hosia seems to have locked his on tight now - Tyson screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Hosia, as he picks up the win!

During a confident post fight interview, Elias Hosia thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
