The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muay Thai throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Pinheiro counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Pinheiro throws a predictable looking body shot
and Muay Thai finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Pinheiro throws out a powerful jab.
We've been told by Pinheiro's head coaches at Soul Supremacy Rio that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Pinheiro throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Muay Thai stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Pinheiro creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Muay Thai is trying to pull guard but Pinheiro has him pressed against the cage.
Pinheiro misses with a knee to the head.
Pinheiro misses with a hook to the ribs.
Pinheiro lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Muay Thai.
Pinheiro lands with a right to the head.

Muay Thai gets control of Pinheiro's arms and successfully pulls guard. Muay Thai will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Muay Thai quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Pinheiro has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast!
